Penguins win! Penguins win! Penguins win! Now Opus can relax on the Channel 3 lawn because the Penguins have won the Stanley Cup. Had he been there this afternoon as depicted in this image, he would have had a hard time missing the Tea Party folks protesting along Mobile Highway. I'm not sure what they were trying to say. The only sign I saw that had any bearing on us was 'ABC-TV3 Selective Liberal Coverage.' There are certainly some liberals in the building, and quite a few conservatives too. In fact my boss is pretty darn conservative and he runs the newsroom. However, I wouldn't characterize our news coverage as fitting into either one of those camps. More puzzling were the following signs: 'Nationalize the Federal Reserve' - huh? 'Impeach Obama' - Under what grounds? What does he have to do with us? 'No Martial Law. No FEMA Camps.' - Again, huh? I'm not sure what point they were trying to make. Maybe they were hoping someone would come out and give them some attention. If that was it, this is all they're going to get.
